Strathmore Heights Cricket Club home base is at Boeing Reserve Strathmore Heights in Melbourne's North West. The Club has in the 2009/10 3 open age teams and has recommenced its junior program with In2cricket and an Under 10 team. The Club in promoting this development has made the under 10 ten fee free for this season and has and will continue to provide an econominal fee structure right across the Club. 

The Club is proud of its tradition and its place in the community. The Club commenced playing at Boeing Reserve when was first opened has a sporting reserve in the 1980/81 season and relocating all the Club's teams there in the mid 80's then changing its name from St. Aidans to Strathmore Heights for the 1986/87 season. The Club's roots came through Strathmore Presbyterians (formation in as Uplands Road Presbyterians in 1938/39), Essendon Church of Christ and Strathmore Methodists to form and play as St. Aidans CC.

Strathmore Heights Cricket Club is affliated with 2 competitions. The Open age teams play in the Moreland Moonee Valley Cricket Association with three synthetic wicket teams one being in the one day competition. This unfortunately the core of our veteran team (40+) left to play with another Club not giving giving the Club sufficient time to get together enough players to continue the team this year, this team played in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association. The Club's junior team plays in the North West Cricket Association.

The North West Cricket Association is a participant in developing womens cricket and have an under 14 grade Strathmore Heights CC would welcome women to the club to play cricket. Women who don't quite make the under 14 age group and would like to play also give us a call and we'll see what we can do.

The Strathmore Heights Cricket Club is affliated with the Goods Sports Program and as of December 2006 achieved  level 3 accreditation for its management of alcohol. In 2005 the club won the region's nomination for the Good Sports Club  Metropolitan Winner.

We are an amateur Club any profit made is directed back into promoting and developing cricket. We are not the biggest Club in the area, true, but we are a fun place Club to belong to.
